Photograms Made with Snow & Ice - Part 1

Over the past few weeks, I have been working with my own creations of glitter-ice, cubed and skull shaped ice, brought snow into the darkroom, created a few new processes, as well as refined some of my processes with sand and glitter. I also experimented with metallic gilding flakes, glow in the dark glitter, and glitter glue (yes, I really love glitter). [My Ice Rubbings are made by literally moving the ice around - directly on the paper. This process tends to leave marks behind, which resemble (long exposures of) stars (or brushstrokes), especially in the case of the glitter-ice.]

These new photograms actually work best as mosaics, but are of course also sold individually (and as diptychs and triptychs)

It was a lovely surprise to learn that the title image of my award-winning series, "Into the Ether" (2020), was just nominated for a Spider Award.  [This series recently placed 3rd in the 16th Julia Margaret Cameron Awards].
